I have seen a really cute challenge going around on Facebook called the #valentinesdaychallenge where couples talk about how they met and all that stuff, so I decided to write it all out and post it here on the blog. AND of course, share my favorite photos of us!
First of all, my significant other is named Mike. We have been together for quite some time (which you will read about) and we have been married almost as long. We have one child together and don't plan on any more. This is our love story....
How did you meet?
We actually met at a bar called Pepe's. He was drunk, I was drunk, and we exchanged numbers (that's all). He went on to "date" one of my friends and then when I found out it wasn't actually serious or going anywhere, I randomly texted him. We set up a date, and the rest is history.
First Date?
November 28, 2007... we met at his house, hung out and watched some TV, and went to dinner at Quiznos.

How long have you been together?
Too flippin' long lol, no, um, it was 14 years this past November.
Married?
Yes. He proposed on our 1 year anniversary, and we were married on September 5, 2009. We have been married for 11 years.

Alot... um, like 6 years- he's older.
Who was interested first?
I was.
Who said I love you first?
He did. I'm awesome like that.
Who is taller?
He is.

Depends on the situation, but mainly me.
Most sensitive?
He is.
Most stubborn?
We are both stubborn in our own way.
Falls asleep first?
He does.
Cooks better?
I have my dishes that I am the bomb dot com at, but he mainly cooks on his days off, and is pretty great at it.

Me. I work days and he works midnights, so on his days off, he is a bear to get up in the mornings.
Better driver?
Him, even though I usually have anxiety with him driving.

Um... both?
Who is funniest?
I would love to say me, but we are both sarcastic assholes.

Where do you eat out most as a couple?
Where ever the kid doesn't want to eat when we go out as a family... Taco Bell...
Who is more social?
He is. He gets along with everyone and isn't shy in new situations (unlike me)
Who is the neat freak?
He is, but my OCD creeps up in different ways

He does- I need to be kept in the shower.
Who spends the most?
Depends on what we are buying. Me- beauty things and office supplies; him- tools. Both things can get expensive.
