Moving soon? Here's some tips!

moving tips, blogger, tips for moving

About a month ago, my family and I moved, and to tell the truth, it sucked! Fortunately, I only had to pack up a one bedroom house and essentially move all the essentials- clothes, toys, bed, animals, etc, to my parents- which was like 100 feet behind my current residence, but it still irritated me. And set my procrastination self into overdrive! Anyways, after moving, I am sharing 7 things that I learned and would do differently

AND... I'm back

In the words of Usher, " It feels so good to be back!"

My last post was published on May 31... #sadface and the reason: a new full time job! What! What!

I have been talking about needing a full time job for as long as I can remember and now, it is finally a reality! I am currently training to be an RBT- Registered Behavioral Tech- which will provide ABA therapy to children with Autism. Monday was my three weeks and I LOVE it. Even though I am training right now, I have been able to work with children and they are so super sweet. I feel like I am making a difference.

my change to a cruelty free lifestyle

Around mid-2016, I started thinking about the whole idea of cruelty-free products and the possibility of becoming vegan. Unfortunately, due to my love of cheese and ice cream, I am not ready to make a diet change like cutting out all animal products/by-products, but I am ready to start living a semi-cruelty-free-lifestyle.

Vegan, cruelty-free beauty

How bloggers work with brands

If you are new to blogging, you may start asking yourself "when does the free stuff and money start rolling in?" I have been blogging for almost four years now, and honestly, I didn't even think about money until this year- I just wasn't in it for the money I guess. Anyways, bloggers can make money blogging three ways- 1) affiliate sales, 2) selling courses/ebooks/etc, and 3) working with brands. The third one is the easiest and today is all about it.

acne, differin gel, skincare

When I was younger, I really didn't care about skincare products. Sure, I used face wash and the normal things, but I didn't have to worry about acne.

Honestly, it wasn't until I turned 30 that I started to suffer from acne around my time of the month. In a nutshell, my skin can be completely clear until about two weeks before the start of Aunt Flo. Once I start breaking out, I know that it won't go away until the day after I actually start. To be honest, the acne hurts.

I have never actually been to a dermatologist for a prescription, but I have tried exfoliating with baking soda, dousing the area with apple cider vinegar, different acne spot treatments, and more... but nothing had helped. A few weeks ago, I was at Target and found about Differin® Gel. I knew I had to try it, especially because it's supposed to clear acne with the power of Rx!
