my current beauty obsessions

Being a beauty blogger I like to try out as many new products that I can each month, so I can share them with my readers. I try to try out a variety of products- like skincare, haircare, and makeup- at a variety of price points, because I'm not made of money. Lately I have been loving different products, mostly in the skincare and haircare categories.

First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Oil-Free Mattifying Gel Moisturizer

What is it? A mattifying gel moisturizer that controls oil and gives skin the perfect balance between hydration and oil control.

Why I love it? I tend to sweat a lot at work, and this stuff is a God-send. It feels so nice on, hydrates, and of course, helps my face stay matte.

IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel

What is it? A lightweight, coconut oil-infused styler for tousled, air-dried texture and smooth shine.

Why I love it: After showering I like to put a little bit of this stuff in my wet hair. It tames my frizz and makes my hair smell like a beach! Yum!

Madison Reed Radiant Hair color kit

What is it? A cruelty-free hair coloring kit that is free of ammonia, parabens, resorcinol, PPD, phthalates, & gluten, and made from ingredients you can feel good about: keratin, argan oil, and ginseng root extract.

Why I love it: I plan on doing a full review on the Madison Reed hair color, but for now, I have to tell you- this stuff is AMAZING! Not only is it cruelty free, but it is natural, doesn't have ammonia, and leaves your hair feeling so healthy!

Kenra Professional Dry Oil Control Spray 14

What is it? A lightweight touchable spray that controls frizz and flyaways with 24 hr humidity resistance.

Why I love it: I was very hesitant to use a dry oil spray at first, but once I tried it, I became hooked. I spray it on my hair before I use my straightener and bam, straight unfrizzy hair!

Bath and Body Works Exfoliating Walnut Shell Body Scrub

What is it? A known powerhouse exfoliator, this scrub has a creamy lather, helps remove dull surface skin cells, and leaves skin looking refreshed.

Why I love it: This stuff makes my skin feels soooo soft after using it. As an exfoliator, it doesn't hurt when I use it and it smells great!

Those 5 products have been on repeat lately, well except for the hair color, and I have been absolutely satisfied with them! Do you have any current beauty obsessions?
