July beauty favorites

I can't believe that I haven't done a monthly favorites post since last year and the last time I mentioned any of my favorite products is when I talked about my top five summer essentials. It really surprises me, especially because I love blasting my new favorite products.

Anyways, since August is going to be the last month of Subscription Boxes for me, I have started grabbing samples from my local Sephora inside JCP, and of course, grabbing up their sample packs (which are generally different from the Favorites kits at stand-alone stores & online). This month I found a few products from Too Faced, boscia, First Aid Beauty, and Origins that I really liked, & in return, today I am sharing those with you.

1 // Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray
I love boscia products, so I was happy to try the new makeup setting spray. I have always used Urban Decay's all nighter, and this spray exceeded my expectations. It held everything in place, and didn't make my face all shiny. The thing I loved the most? That it didn't have a smell!

I will be the first to admit that I have dark circles and I have tried quite a few products. The FAB eye duty is the first that I have wanted to buy a full size of. Basically it has light reflecting pigments that blend well with my skin tone (they have a light-medium & medium-dark btw), and I love the result. It's not heavy, and doesn't irritate my skin.

I used to be uber obsessed with the Urban Decay eye shadow primer potion, but then all of a sudden, my eyes would start itching & watering when I use it. After talking with some Sephora employees, they recommended the shadow insurance, because I wanted a brand that was cruelty-free. I tried it, and fell inlove. It spreads really well, is crease proof, and locks in my eye shadow for a good 6-8 hours. It hasn't irritated my eyes yet, and I use it almost every day.

I'm a sucker for a good serum, and I haven't really tried one that I didn't like. After a subscription box offered the Origins serum, I knew I had to try it; considering I had tried quite a few Origins products, and have yet to be disappointed. I loved how it melted onto my face, and my skin felt hydrated.

Another amazing Too Faced product, the Hangover Rx Primer smells absolutely ah-mazing! It didn't break out my skin, and stayed true to the claim that it hydrates the skin. I loved how it felt, and the fact that it covered my pores, even when I used a bb cream.
