favorite summer beauty essentials

happy monday friends!

if it wasn't made apparent by the last few days (except for the rain), summer is definitely on it's way. and i am so ready! and because i am ready, i am going to share some of my favorite summer beauty essentials.

a better part of my late-teens and early twenty's were spent in a tanning bed, until i realized that a tan was a waste of money and dangerous to my health. so in stead of frying my light skin in a cancer box, i have decided that a faux glow is the way to go. jergens is great for that. the "glow" starts right after the first application, and lasts for at least three days.

being a mom and a part time worker, i don't have the money to be paying for pedicures all summer, so i resort to creams and serums to make my feet look and smell pretty. i love the palmer's because it soothes my rough and dry feet, plus smells amazing.

three | body spray
summer is supposed to be about the bare minimum. so that means no perfume, right? well, since girls love to smell nice, body spray is a great option. bath and body works has an amazing selection of body sprays, but my favorite happens to be the pink chiffon. it smells like a flirty vanilla flower.

four | a great pink lip
pink is a great color for summer, especially on my fair skin. i love pixi's new shea butter lip balm in pixi pink, because it it gives me an amazing pink and lasts for-ever!

five | a sunscreen/bb cream combo
my pick for this is coola tinted matte spf 30 for face. i had received a sample in a birchbox back in january, and completely fell in love! it gives minimal coverage, but is great for the beach.

what's your favorite summer beauty essentials?

  2. I love learning about new products. I'm always a sucker for new products; especially, when my favorite blogger is recommending them.
