Happy February Confessions

Holy crap! Where did January go? Apparently Jack Frost has been eating it and upchucking it all over the US. The joys of winter... Well, in true weekend fashion, I would like to confess some things...

I seriously can't wait for this month for so many reasons!

one // I am going to be hosting my own lil giveaway that goes live on Wednesday.

two // I have three sponsorships that started this month!

three // I will be participating in Brianna's 10 favorite things link up on Monday AND on that day, a giveaway that I will be participating in for one of the blogs that I am sponsoring goes live!

four // I will be hosting my own link up the second week of February! Talk about February 'poppin my cherry'.

five // Since it's a 'no spend' month, I already told the hubby that I don't want anything for the upcoming "lovers holiday". Ok, maybe just a flower, but no jewelry. BUT Valentine's Day isn't going to suck, because I am participating in two different swap boxes! Score!

six // The hubby's birthday is this month, which means that we actually get a date night and that is surely going to include some drinking :) (Oh, don't tell him, but I combined VDay and his birthday to buy him Motley Crew tickets for their Chicago stop in August!)

seven // I have some awesome posts scheduled for you guys! Yep! I am awesome! btw... one of those posts is about Fluffy Socks...

eight // I was nominated for the Liebster award by Beedie of Beedie's Blog the other day. So, I will be posting my answers and nominating 11 others bloggers. It's a great way to find new blogs.

I decided that I wanted this to be a two part post. I mean, I am sitting here telling you how much I am looking forward to February, and I really don't think that you guys really know anything about me, other than the stuff on the 'About Me' page. If I'm wrong and you know ALL, then by all means, go look at some of the archived posts (maybe show me some love), but if you want to know more about the gal behind 'a hundred tiny wishes', read on, and I promise you won't forget it :)

My name is Tabitha, and I am the 'author' of this little piece of the dot-com-world. I live in Northwest Indiana, which is south east-ish of Chicago, and I was born and raised in the same town, in which we (my family) is living now.

I graduated high school about 10 years ago, and in the time since then, I have attended three different colleges, earned my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice, and am currently pursuing my Masters of Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law.

I met the man of my dreams at a bar (his name is Mike, but I refer to him as the Hubby), married him less than two years later, and welcomed a bouncing baby boy fourteen days after our first wedding anniversary.

-You can read all about me on the 'about' page, so, I thought I would be a little different, and give you a glimpse of my life in pictures ------>

I work for a non-profit, in which I supervise supervised visitations between a non-custodial parent and their child/children. I am in love with my job, and it's great for my karma too! AND as part of my capstone class for my Grad degree, I am developing a pro-bono parenting class and legal clinic for our clients.

Well, that's all for now folks. I have two rough drafts for my classes to complete by tomorrow (Sunday), and a porch to shovel off, because Jack Frost decided to bless us with 6-8 more inches of snow. Ugh. Oh, I am linking up with Leslie from A Blonde Ambition today. Have you met her? You should, because not only is she pretty, but she is also amazing :)

Have a great weekend, and be safe tomorrow!

  3. If I could share my 60 degree weather with you I would! It looks like more snow in the forecast for us next week, but I'm going to pretend that's not the case for now... and you are going to be a busy bee this month!!!
