I know I have said it before, but I have a "thing" for serums. Especially serums that can improve my skin tone and in turn, will hydrate my skin. So when Brandbacker and Valentia Skin Care gave me a chance to try out Valentia's Even Glow Serum, I was super excited.
The bottle arrived a couple days after I had run out of my favorite serum, and of course, I couldn't wait to try it. Plus after reading all of the other reviews on Amazon, I had HIGH hopes.
I tried it out the next morning after washing my face. Opening the bottle, I realized that the serum had a strong citrus smell. Granted I wasn't surprised, since the serum contained 20% Vitamin C, but the smell did throw me off a little bit. Especially since the smell really didn't dissipate when I smoothed it over my face.
The serum was in a thicker liquid form, and once I got over the smell, I really liked the feel of it. It made my skin feel a but smoother, and did brighten my dull skin. I really liked the fact that the serum is made in the US with 98% all natural ingredients and features green tea extract (great for calming red & inflamed skin).
Overall, I really did like Valentia's Even Glow serum, and recommend it to anyone looking for a new serum. Especially one that has Vitamin C.
