current beauty favorites

Can anyone else believe that it's already almost halfway through June? Yeah, me neither! But all in all, I have to say that life has been going rather well, at least in my neck of the woods. Besides Summer coming in with a sledge hammer, my little one finished school, I started a new job, and of course, I found some great beauty products.

So today, I wanted to share the five beauty products that I discovered, and let's just say, they are now in my HG beauty arsenal.

OUAI Leave In Conditioner // $26

What is it? Going by a new name, the Leave in Conditioner is a smoothing spray that moisturizes and has enhanced heat protection.

Why do I love it? Free of parabens and sodium chloride, and of course, animal testing, this leave in conditioner has really changed my hair. I use it after every shower and my hair stays so soft, clean, and free of flyaways.

btw, if you are interested in trying OUAI, but don't know what to buy, Sephora has a great little travel kit

FARMACY Sleep Tight // $48

What is it? A lightweight solid balm that melts into a oil-gel that quickly absorbs into the skin to lift, firm, fight the signs of aging, and hydrates your skin.

Why do I love it? Quiet simply, my face feels ah-mazing when I wake up in the morning after applying at night. My skin feels hydrated, fine lines disappear, and it looks like I got a full night's rest.

FARMACY has a set of their best sellers and it's a great try-it set.

COVER FX Perfect Setting Powder // $35

What is it? A talc-free, translucent loose lightweight powder that sets makeup with an airbrushed finish. The powder has light diffusing particles that blur and smooth for a lovely effect and it comes in two shades- Light and Deep.

Why do I love it? The finish I get just on my bare, moisturized face is something of beauty! I don't wear alot of makeup, especially in the warmer weather, so the Setting Powder is perfect for layering over my bb or cc cream.

Eventually I really want to try COVER FX's Mattifying Prime and Set kit.

UNITE Hair BOOSTA Thickening Cream // $27.50

What is it? A lightweight volumizing styling creme that instantly adds thick, touchable volume to fine or limp hair.

Why do I love it? For a gal with fine hair, this is a gift from the heavens! It doesn't weigh my hair down, makes my hair look great when I blow dry, gives me volume, smells great, and is not sticky!

I also really love the UNITE 7SECONDS detangler!

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment // $24

What is it? An exfoliator that smooths and polishes to reveal a glowing, radiant complexion in as little as one use. Best uses include dullness/uneven texture, pores, and dark spots/uneven skin tone. I was also named as the "Two minute Hollywood facial".

Why do I love it? I love the end result. Unfortunately when it's on, it does burn a bit, but after a few minutes of wiping it off, my face is soooooo soft.

I've also tried the Oil Free moisturizer and it's really hydrating.

Alot of great products, huh? Yep, I told you. I really liked the previous five products because they work with my skin and hair type, and because I love all things beauty :)

Have you discovered any new beauty products lately?
