I'm not going to lie.... between the blizzard of 2015 and Lil Man being sick, this week has NOT been very fun! But, the whole idea of life is to find the good in the dark, right? So I've pulled out the BEST things from my week.
one || even though the snow has been, for lack of a better term, horrid, it sure has been super pretty.
two || we tried taking Lil Man to the mall to play, but with all his running around and excitement, he was havign an issue breathing, and we had to leave. :( But when he took his hat off in the car, Lil Man's hair was to die for and his face...
three || I have been OBSESSED with muted color since fall, and of course, Target has the best shirts! I picked up a couple of their new modal pocket tees, and the cardi was only $11! Oh, and the long crystal necklace? Yep, I made it and I am thinking of adding it to the etsy shop.
four || the hubby and I have been married for a little over 5 years now, and for the majority of our marriage, he has not worn a wedding band. Sure, it's no fault of his own- we only paid $87 for his sterling silver band because I wanted a rather expensive dress. Well not any more! On a trip to the mall, of course our go-to jeweler was having a sale, and on a whim, we bought and paid under $200 for his new band. I am so happy! He looks so sexy in it!
five || this week I have been reading some rather good blog posts:
Working on me \\ Perks of Ponder
My girl Ashley is back blogging, and she is talking about her life during/after divorce. I really feel for the girl! Her post is about working on your self, and focusing on the good rather than the bad.
Happy Birthday Ainsley \\ The Rambling Llama
Oh man, my darling Melissa is surely back! After a bit of a somewhat forced break (it's not my story to tell), she come back with a sweet post detailing the birth of her beautiful little two year old daughter.
Being grateful for the awesome things about hubs \\ Knock on Wood
Just too cute! READ IT!
How to keep track of your sponsors (without loosing your mind) \\ The So-called Homemaker
I have been promising to add sponsorships for about two months now, and the reason I haven't... time. I feel as if I wouldn't have enough time to adequately give my sponsors their money's worth. Anyways, I love Christine's idea to keep track of the people spending money to advertise on your blog. Definitely pin-worthy!
How has your week been?
