Saying good bye to one year and hello to another

For this week's edition of "All About Me Thursdays" I was going to recap 2013 for you, but then I realized that I really didn't have monthly super-awesome-I-must-tell-people-about-this moments, and it dawned on me that the post may suck. Boo!
Instead of a sucky post, I decided to give you my top 5 moments of 2013...
Five... Receiving that e-mail that I was accepted into grad school! Hells yeah!!! And did I mention that I will be graduating in May of 2014!!

Four... I started this here blog in September, and seriously can't believe how much it has grown in that little of time. AND since it's a new year, the blog got a make over!!! Like?

Three... Lil Man turned THREE at the end of September and I finally attempted a DIY party. Yes, it was awesome. Yes, it took a lot of work. Yes, it was worth it!

Two... the number two spot was a tie between going to the Museum on Science and Industry on my birthday and the day I got my new hair... Well, the new hair won out. That day, I got my hair did, we had a family date at Starbucks (first ever), and then the man in red traumatized Lil Man. Still one the best days ever.

One... May was an awesome month for us! Over a week's span, I had an interview, we took a trip to Indy, my little niece was born, and I got that job! Definitely the best moments of the year were during that month. BTW, did I tell you that I got to meet Bumble Bee? Dream. come. true.
Those were some great moments, and I seriously can't wait to see what moments 2014 has in store for us!! Vacation? New niece or nephew? New job for hubby? Buying a house? Who knows, but I know its gonna be awesome!

  2. Don't you just love the excitement of what could happen? So much excitement of what could be! I'm looking forward to great times. Overall, we didn't see a lot of change in a year. The biggest thing was just watching our son grow. Happy New Year!

P.S. Just a heads up... did you know that when you reply through the blog rather than through e-mail, people don't see the responses unless they come back?? I did that before, too until someone told me! Unless you prefer it that way of course. :)
