We are finally in the swing of Fall and along with pumpkins, plaid, boots, and leaves, my most favorite thing is new Fall TV. With so many returning shows like Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Fire, and Blindspot, it's pretty nice to throw in some new binge worthy shows. Prime time Fall TV is amazing this year- there are shows that will make you laugh, make you cry, and even make you think. Today I've rounded up five of my favorite new shows, and honestly, if you take it from me- you should be watching them now (or you know, DVR and watch later)!
1. The Good Place NBC Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c
Kristen Bell is back on TV as a woman who died and goes to Heaven, but there's a catch- she was a terrible person when she was alive and isn't supposed to be in the Good Place. Kristen enlists the help of her "soul mate" to teach her to be a good person, because she realizes that she doesn't want to go to the Bad Place.
2. Designated Survivor ABC Wednesdays at 10/9c
Kiefer Sutherland is finally back on Prime time TV with an addicting new dram. Sutherland portrays the Secretary of HUD, and he is thrust into the presidency after a terrorist attack leaves the nation in peril when a bomb kills the President, VP, cabinet, and almost all of congress.
3. Conviction ABC Mondays at 10/9c
A face paced crime drama with a twist. The main character is a hot mess- a former First Daughter- that is blackmailed into running a new unit that looks at cases where a wrongful conviction might have occurred.
4. Timeless NBC Mondays at 10/9c
Time travel is something that is finally attainable in Timeless. Three people- a scientist, historian, and muscle- chase a suspected terrorist as he leaps through time, but there's a catch- things that you do in the past will affect the future.
5. This is Us NBC Tuesdays at 9/8c
Just like everyone go hooked on Parenthood, you will become obsessed with This is Us. The basis is that people born on the same day have similar qualities, and for this tearjerker, it's true.
Have you been watching the new Fall TV shows?
